Ashley made her debut in London, England on the night of December 6 in 1981. She is known for her parts as a call-girl Bambi as seen in the ITV2 show Secret Diary of a Call Girl, social climber Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama series Revenge and as the Witch Tituba on the WGN America series Salem.Madekwe was born in South London, England into the family of a mixed race. Her father, a Nigerian-Swiss citizen, and her mother, a Nigerian-Swiss national are both English. She was born and lived in a housing estate run by the council south of London. At the age 14she enrolled in The Brit School. She went to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London where she gained an acting BA. As a student at the school, she appeared in numerous stage productions including the King Henry V as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw. Madekwe started her acting career with a film titled Storm Damage. Since then, she's been making guest appearances in films like Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film was that of the Woody Allen 2007 film Cassandra's Dream. She starred with Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. Following that success, she played Elisha in the cult BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN, and appeared in the six episodes of Trexx and Flipside in the role of Ollie. In 2008, she was cast as Bambi as the main character in ITV2's drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was the main character in How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others. The comedy made in 2008. Theatre credits for Madekwe include Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe made her US debut with The Beautiful Life in 2009. The show ran just two episodes on The CW, and was later removed from the air. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC's Revenge in the role of Ashley Davenport. Madekwe was a regular character on the drama series on ABC Revenge during two seasons. The show was announced in May 2013 that she'd be leaving the show due to the appearance of her in the first episode of season 3. She played Tituba from 2014 to 2016 in the TV show Salem.
The actress and her partner Iddo got married in June of 2012. They worked together on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. He also played with Madekwe in Salem.

Ashley Mae Sebera (better known as Dana Brooke) is a professional wrestler, who is a part of World Wrestling Entertainment. Sebera was enrolled at Kent State University, where she received a degree in clothing design, merchandise and marketing in 2011. In addition, she holds an additional degree in management. Sebera played a variety of other sports such as diving until she chose to go back to gymnastics. Sebera was forced to abandon training after suffering serious ankle injuries after 18-years of practice. She then trained to compete in fitness and bodybuilder. After winning championships during 2010-2011 in National Physique Committee (NPC) competitions, she earned her professional certification in 2012 and began competing with the International Federation of BodyBuilding & Fitness (IFBB). Sebera made her debut in WWE under the name of Dana Brooke in 2013. She made her WWE NXT debut was in 2016 after three years spent training and participating in WWE NXT events. Outside of professional wrestling, she maintained a presence in bodybuilding, returning for the 2017 Arnold's Classic, competing in the fitness world category.

Ashley Martelle has appeared in Best Friend 2023, Tales (2017) as well as Nightmare Angel (1997).
