April Ross

April Ross is only one of the beach volleyball players to have won medals multiple times at an Olympics. Alix Klineman is a new Olympian and will join her in Tokyo. But more than that, Ross will be aiming for her first Olympic gold. This may be the last opportunity she gets to do so at the age of 39. However, she is certain of taking top honors. If we perform at our very highest or perform well, I think we'll win the gold medal Ross said via NBC Boston. Also, I am going to rely on a bit of luck. Ross was born on the 22nd of October, 1982. She was raised in Costa Mesa California where she lived with her parents as well as a sister. In Newport Harbor High School, she competed in numerous different sports. When she was a student in the prep school, she competed in basketball, indoor volleyball as well as running track. However she was clearly an edge over the other players in the latter sport. As a college volleyball season as per her college biography she played as an outside-hitter, middle-blocker and setter. She was awarded by the Gatorade National Circle of Champions player of the Year in 1999 due to her accomplishments. Also, she won the award in 2000. Orange County Athlete of the Year trophy for volleyball. Ross and Klineman formed their relationship in 2017 However, Ross has been a beach celebrity for a long time prior to. It's true that she's had numerous big wins as well as one of her partners was a volleyball superstar. Jennifer Kessy was her partner for six years, from 2007 to the year 2013. She also coached Klineman as well as herself. Ross, Kessy's fellow teammate who took home the title of world champion with Kessy in 2009, was also an important player on the an international level. The duo were awarded silver medals at the London Olympic Games. They were defeated for the gold by the legendary team comprised of Misty May-Treanor as well as Kerri Walsh (Jennings). Ross Jennings took over for May-Treanor after she retired. The team won bronze in beach volleyball at the Rio Olympics in 2016. Ross participated in the Trojans of USC in her college years after she graduated the high school she attended. And her run in the Trojans' ranks was one to remember. She was an All-American and Pac-10 Freshman of the Year when she was a teen freshman. The team also saw her help in helping the Trojans reach their first Final Four. She endured a great personal loss during her sophomore year, however, she was able to achieve the All-American distinction. Over the course of her final two seasons, she took the Trojans up to the summit and took home consecutive national championships. The individual accomplishments of her have established her place as a legendary volleyball player. Ross was awarded the Honda Sports Award 2003-04 for the top female NCAA player. Ross who was a USC international relations student was a star in volleyball. Margie Ross wasn't able to watch her daughter's rise to the beach volleyball spotlight. When Ross was a sophomore in USC her mother died of breast cancer. As a result, Ross is still near to her mother who passed away. Margie has inspired her in her life and on the beach.
