Zoe Saldana's parents, Asalia and Aridio Saldana, were born on the 19th June, 1978, in Passaic New Jersey. Her parents, Aridio and Asalia have both been Puerto Ricans. She was raised by her mother who lived in Queens. Her family relocated from Queens, NY in the Dominican Republic when she was 10, and lived in the Dominican Republic for 7 years. Zoe discovered a love for dance performance while living in the Dominican Republic. Her first training was with the ECOS Espacio de Danza Dance Academy, where she studied ballet as well as other types of dancing. While her education did give her a chance to express young people who are enthusiastic and active and her family, but it was also proving to be an excellent preparation to the beginning of the professional career of an actor. Zoe and family returned to the United States with Zoe at 17 and her interest for dancing and theatre performance increased. Zoe, who has been praised by industry professionals like Steven Spielberg or Jerry Bruckheimer along with actors and actresses Tom Hanks (Keira Knightley), Ashton Kutcher Kirsten Dust and Orlando Bloom, not only was a great performer in motion picture films, but she was also able to earn respect from those who work within the film industry. The majority of Zoe's co-stars as well as producers believe that sky's not her limit. She is a versatile range of talents, extreme focus and a unwavering desire to tackle projects that have different characters and subjects. She can also be seen in the Focus Feature film The Outfit (2022) from director Graham Moore, starring opposite Mark Rylance and Dylan O'Brien. This role earned her the "Best Supporting Actress" nomination for the 2022 BIFA. In the next episode, Deutch will re-team with writer Katie Silberman for their second romantic comedy, Most Dangerous Game. Deutch previously collaborated with Silberman in the Netflix smash Set It Up 2018.
