Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been an actor, director, producer, playwright as well as an educator for St. Thomas University. Anna Silk's father is British, and her mother is a Turkish Cypriot English expat. Her mother was always watching her perform in play rehearsals. While still a small girl, she appeared in commercials of various kinds. Anna was transferred to Toronto in the fall of 1999 to further her acting career. She eventually settled down in Los Angeles (California) over the next ten years. Anna met Seth Cooperman in 2007 at an actor's workshop held in Los Angeles, and they got engaged in the year the year 2009. Anna was a convert to the Jewish faith in 2011, after she converted to Judaism. They got wed in a civil ceremony in December the same year, and they then renewed their vows in a Jewish wedding ceremony that took place in Fredericton on April 11, 2011. Bo's similar-sex romance with Lauren (played by Zoie Palmer) was noted in CNN's list of all-time most viewed Television Couples and was named the top Television Couple in the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Anna's popularity on social media increased after the success of her TV show.
